Grab your paintbrush, crayons, construction paper…whatever! You could win free cupcakes from Cupcakes by Carousel for your birthday, class or after-school party. Winner’s work will be hung in our store and featured on the cover of our 2010 calendar.  Contest is open to children ages 13 and under.  Entries must be on a letter-sized (8.5 X 11) sheet of paper. Entry forms available inside the Ridgewood, NJ, store. Entries may be submitted in-store and are due by December 5th, 2009. Winners will be announced on our website on December 12th, 2009.

Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDs.  In the month of November, Carousel Cakes is donating $1 for each Red Ribbon red velvet cupcake and $2 for every full size Red Ribbon red velvet cake to BC/EFA.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA) is one of the nation’s leading industry-based, non-profit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organizations. By drawing upon the talents, resources and generosity of the American theatre community, since 1988 BC/EFA has raised over $160 million dollars for essential services for people with AIDS and other critical illnesses across the United States.

Cupcakes by Carousel Supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month At Betsey Johnson’s In Hackensack, NJ

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month and from October 2nd through the 7th  a Breast Cancer Awarness fundraising event took place at Betsy Johnson’s retail store in Hackensack , NJ.

Cupcakes by Carousel was proud to be a sponsor of the five day event and contributed hundreds of cupcakes for the cause. All of the procedes from cupcakes will go directly to Breast Cancer Research. 

The super sophisticated dress designer Betsey Johnson is a breast cancer survivor herself and has had her own courage battle with the disease. Betsy believes that knowledge is power and we all need to do our part to spread the word to women about the importance of routine self examinations, early dection and the importance of continuing need for on-going research to find a cure.
